Eurocarbon produces braided and woven reinforcements out of aramid and carbon fiber for many applications, from automotive to sports and other composites industries. We have a large range of high-quality standard products, but also offer customization service for products requiring a high degree of engineering.
Variety of standard aramid and carbon fiber products
For our standard products program, we work extensively with both carbon fiber and aramid, also known as Kevlar. Both these polymers offer many advantages. Their good abrasion-resistance, solvent-resistance and high or non-existent melting points, to sum up just a few. Additionally, aramid offers excellent drape capabilities without buckling fibers and can handle large torsional loads. Consequently, we use both high-quality aramid and carbon fiber to manufacture braided sleeves and woven tapes. Aramid, for instance, is used to produce flat braids which can be used to create an L-profile. Tubular carbon fiber braids are available in light, medium and heavy varieties and different fiber densities.
